Format:
Team will split into two,
2-person sub-teams. Each sub-team will play a partners scramble for six holes.
Teams record the one best score from the two sub-teams for each hole. After the
six holes, the sub-teams will switch partners to form two new sub-teams for the
next six holes. Finally, players will switch partners one more time and play the
last six holes using the same format. Players should change partners so they
play with a different person for each six holes. The strategy comes into play in
deciding which players are paired for which six-hole stretch!
Proceeds from this golf tournament are used to raise funds for special business
projects by the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce and to support the Ambassadors’
mission of providing:

scholarships to Oxnard business students at
California State University Channel Islands,
§
free military concerts for the community,
§
the annual Ambassador Holiday Business Mixer, and
various Chamber events held throughout the year such as the Community
Awards Night and the Military Appreciation Dinner

Auction Items
Dear Community Supporter:
We are looking for
individuals or businesses willing to donate raffle and auction
items while at the same time advertising their business to more customers.
Prizes are also needed
for the raffle and live auction, i.e. dinners, weekend getaways, golf equipment,
electronic equipment, gift certificates or baskets. Or if you prefer, we would
be grateful to accept a cash donation in order to purchase terrific prizes for
the event. All donations will be recognized during the golf tournament and
during the evening’s festivities.
